1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and GetFarmLinked and its owners, operators, and affiliates ("GetFarmLinked," "we," or "us"). By creating an account, posting a listing, contacting another user, or otherwise using GetFarmLinked, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. You must be at least 18 years old to use GetFarmLinked.

2. What GetFarmLinked Is

GetFarmLinked is an online marketplace where users post listings for livestock, equipment, supplies, feed, land, services, farm products, and related items, and where buyers and sellers can find and contact each other. We only provide the venue. We are not a party to any transaction between users, and we do not inspect, own, possess, guarantee, store, transport, or take custody of any livestock, equipment, food, land, or other item listed on the site.

3. Use at Your Own Risk

Buying and selling livestock, equipment, food, land, and farm services involves real risks, including animals that are sick, injured, dangerous, or not as described; equipment that is defective, unsafe, or stolen; food products that are unsafe or improperly processed; disputes over ownership or title; fraud and non-payment; and personal injury or property damage during inspection, pickup, loading, or transport. You knowingly and voluntarily assume all of these risks. You are solely responsible for deciding whether to buy, sell, meet, pay, or ship, and for taking your own safety precautions.

4. Your Responsibilities

Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of their listings and for having the right to sell what they list. Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence, including inspecting items and animals in person when possible. Both parties are responsible for confirming animal health records, vaccination and testing, ownership and brand requirements, movement and permit rules, food-safety and inspection requirements, taxes, transportation, payment terms, and final sale terms, and for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Nothing on this site is legal, veterinary, tax, financial, food-safety, or transportation advice.

5. No Verification of Users or Listings

We do not verify the identity, background, licenses, or reputation of users, or the accuracy of any listing, photo, or message. Our admin review of listings is a limited check for obviously prohibited or inappropriate content — it is not an inspection, endorsement, appraisal, or guarantee of any listing, item, animal, or user.

6. Disputes Between Users; Release

Any dispute about a listing or sale — including payment, delivery, condition, health, quality, title, or injury — is solely between the users involved. GetFarmLinked has no obligation to get involved, though we may choose to remove listings or suspend accounts. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release GetFarmLinked from any claims, demands, losses, and damages of every kind, known or unknown, arising out of or connected with any dispute with another user or any transaction you make through the site.

7. Future Payments & Transportation

GetFarmLinked may later offer optional online payments through a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe) and may charge a clearly disclosed platform fee. If online payments are enabled, the applicable payment terms, fees, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, and payout timing will be presented before you use them. Transportation support may be offered in the future through third-party partners. GetFarmLinked does not guarantee the availability, timing, price, or outcome of any future payment or transportation feature unless a formal service is explicitly provided.

8. Listings & Content

You may not post listings for illegal items, prohibited animals, stolen property, or content that is misleading or fraudulent. All listings are reviewed before going live, and we may reject, edit the category of, or remove any listing at our discretion. By posting content, you give GetFarmLinked permission to display it on the platform and in related promotion of the marketplace.

9. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under it. We may suspend or ban accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe put other users at risk.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

GetFarmLinked is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We make no warranty about any listing, user, item, animal, or transaction, or that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, especially during the beta period.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetFarmLinked and its owners, operators, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost data, personal injury, property damage, or loss of livestock or goods, arising out of or related to your use of the site or any transaction or interaction with another user — even if we were advised of the possibility of those damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid GetFarmLinked in the 12 months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GetFarmLinked and its owners, operators, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your listings or content, your transactions or interactions with other users, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another person.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any legal action relating to these Terms or GetFarmLinked must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and GetFarmLinked about the platform.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the new version on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of GetFarmLinked after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
